Storefront Photo Display Contest
How It Works
Show us your best shot of our Summer 2026 display and you could win a year-long photography contract.
Rutledge Jewellers is inviting local photographers, professional and amateur alike, to submit their best photograph of our Summer 2026 storefront display for a chance to become our official seasonal photographer.
How it works:
- Visit our storefront at 82 Brock St West any time between August 17 and September 25, 2026.
- Take your best photo of the Summer 2026 display: daylight hours preferred, wide shot or close-up, it’s up to you. The store sign and clock must be included in the photo.
- Submit your entry by 11:59pm on September 25, 2026, via google form
- Winner announced October 1, 2026 on our Instagram and website.
What You Could Win
The winning photographer will receive:
- A Cash Prize of $500
- An optional contract valued at $1,000 to serve as Rutledge Jewellers’ official display photographer for:
- Fall 2026 display
- Christmas 2026 display
- Summer 2027 display
- Their winning Summer 2026 photo published in a Rutledge Jewellers print advertisement in a 2027 issue of either Kabin, Sideroads of Scugog, or Home on the Green. We reserve the right to add additional print media options in 2027.
- Includes a shoutout to you/your social media handle of choice, if desired. (i.e. Image by Photo Contest Winner *insert name*)
Contest Rules & Eligibility
- Open to photographers residing in Ontario, Canada.
- Entrants must be 18+.
- Photos must be taken of the Rutledge Jewellers Summer 2026 storefront display during the contest window and may not be substantially edited/composited beyond standard photo editing (color, exposure, cropping).
- By submitting, entrants confirm the photo is their own original work and grant Rutledge Jewellers permission to use for all editorial and promotional purposes.
- The winning entrant will be required to sign a photography services contract prior to the start of the Fall 2026 shoot.
- Rutledge Jewellers reserves the right to select the winner at its sole discretion.

By submitting a photo, entrants confirm that the image is their own original work and that they have the full right and authority to submit it. Entrants grant Rutledge Jewellers a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, edit, adapt, distribute, and share the submitted image, in whole or in part, for any advertising, marketing, promotional, editorial, social media, website, print, digital, or other business purposes, without further permission, approval, or compensation. Entrants also confirm that they have obtained permission from any identifiable individuals appearing in the photo for their image and likeness to be used by Rutledge Jewellers for these purposes.
