Rutledge Jewellers has almost 40 years of experience appraising your jewellery, with three in house Gemmologists who are all graduates of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). We are able to appraise for insurance purposes, estate pieces, and on all your jewellery and watches. All of our appraisals are done on the premises, often while you wait!
Our Appraisal Process
Why do I need my jewellery appraised?
Your jewellery not only represents a significant financial investment, but also carries a strong emotional attachment as well. It is important to protect your jewellery with up-to-date insurance. Jewellery appraisals are required to obtain jewellery insurance, and at Rutledge Jewellers we provide you with peace of mind through our insurance company approved, comprehensive appraisal package.

Who completes my appraisal and how long does it take?
Rutledge Jewellers appraisals are completed by our graduate gemmologists. Most appraisal appointments require approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour. All appraisals are completed in-house. You can always call ahead to see our availability.
